About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide counsel and advice to top management on significant Clinical Program Management matters
- Coordinate across organizations and provide thought leadership and technical expertise
- Serve as a clinical advisor to the sales organization
- Act as a subject matter expert in relevant team areas
- Lead, coach, and mentor team members
- Act as a strategic business partner to internal and external stakeholders
- Lead and execute large strategic projects to enhance operating effectiveness and drive change
- Identify business improvement opportunities using data, feedback, and analysis
- Execute processes, present solutions, and identify efficiencies
- Participate in and contribute to training and professional development activities
- Serve as business owner for client work involving operational and implementation benefit changes
- Understand clients' clinical benefit and business philosophies
- Capture and document clinical benefit requirements with business stakeholders
- Provide customer service and act as a trusted client advisor
- Vet, understand, and communicate implications of requested clinical benefit requirements
- Consult with Client Benefit Administrators, Clinical Application Teams, Account Teams, Product Owners, SMEs, and specialized teams
- Manage and track requests to meet timelines
- Develop deep understanding of claims adjudication systems and associated clinical applications
- Lead development, preparation, presentation, execution, and delivery of project plans
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current U.S. Pharmacist License
- Pharm.D.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Access
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Collaboration, analytical thinking, critical thinking, results-oriented, and organizational skills
- Ability to work on multiple tasks, prioritize, resolve complex issues, and use strong project management skills
- Ability to learn multiple internal reporting and analytic tools
- Internet connection through cable broadband or fiber optic service if working from home, with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload
- Medicare experience preferred but not required
- Managed care, PBM industry, or pharmaceutical sales experience preferred
- Knowledge of PBM, managed care, or value-based healthcare industry desirable
