About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide counsel and advice to top management on significant Clinical Program Management matters
  • Provide thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines
  • Represent the company externally and educate stakeholders to enable care coordination
  • Serve as clinical advisor to the sales organization on product and industry knowledge
  • Act as a subject matter expert in relevant team areas
  • Lead, coach, and mentor team members
  • Act as a strategic business partner to internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead and execute strategic projects to enhance operating effectiveness and drive change
  • Identify business improvement opportunities using data, feedback, and analysis
  • Execute processes, present solutions, and identify efficiencies

  • Serve as business owner for client work involving operational and implementation benefit changes
  • Capture and document clinical benefit requirements with business stakeholders
  • Provide customer service and act as a trusted client advisor
  • Consult with Client Benefit Administrators, Clinical Application Teams, Account Teams, Product Owners, SMEs, and specialized teams
  • Manage and track requests to ensure timelines are met
  • Develop a deep understanding of claims adjudication systems and clinical applications
  • Lead development, preparation, and presentation of project plans, including execution and delivery for assigned clients
  • Provide project and administrative support and escalate issues, risks, and concerns

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current U.S. Pharmacist License
  • Pharm.D.
  • Microsoft Office, with strong understanding of Excel and Access
  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively
  • Written and verbal communication skills, including listening, feedback, and translating complex ideas/processes
  • Collaboration, analytical thinking, critical thinking, results-oriented, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks, prioritize, resolve complex issues, and use strong project management skills
  • Ability to learn multiple internal reporting and analytic tools for client management
  • Medicare experience preferred but not required
  • Managed care, Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) industry, or pharmaceutical sales experience preferred
  • Knowledge of PBM, managed care, or value-based healthcare industry desirable
  • Leadership skills, team orientation, proactive management style, and strong commitment to client service
  • Home internet through cable broadband or fiber optic service with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload
