About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Answer inbound phone calls in a high-volume contact center
- Support patients with medication orders, benefits explanations, billing inquiries, and complex issue resolution
- Follow structured workflows and continuous call-taking schedules
- De-escalate concerns and provide empathetic solutions within standard operating procedures
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations
- Meet monthly performance metrics
- Participate in ongoing training and feedback
- Attend and participate in the paid 8-week virtual training program, including live call-taking and assessments
- Handle sensitive health-related issues accurately and responsibly
- Work at a computer and remain seated for extended periods throughout each shift
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- No experience required; 1+ years of healthcare customer service experience preferred
- Ability to excel in a high-volume call center environment
- Flexibility with changing call types, processes, and procedures
- Strong real-time problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and time-management abilities
- Customer-oriented and adaptable to various patient perspectives
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and navigating multiple systems simultaneously
- Availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 11:00 pm EST, and Saturday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST
- Reliable internet connectivity and a dedicated, distraction-free workspace
- Must attend 100% of training and work the scheduled shifts during the first 90 days of employment
- Cable broadband or fiber optic internet with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload
