About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify, evaluate, and lead technical security analyses
Embed security assessments into development and operational workflows to support continuous compliance
Analyze security requirements for information processed, stored, or transmitted across systems
Collaborate with engineering teams on secure design and implementation throughout the system lifecycle
Define security requirements with internal stakeholders and assess scalable security controls
Promote secure-by-design practices in development and operations
Conduct security assessments of third-party service providers and outsourced solutions
Evaluate third-party security posture against organizational standards and industry best practices, including supply chain risk
Design and implement streamlined, automated security processes
Improve security posture while enabling business agility
Provide strategic security guidance to cross-functional teams and leadership
Serve as a thought leader in secure development and operations, aligning security initiatives with business goals and fostering shared security responsibility

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
2 years of experience
Experience automating security solutions in a CI/CD pipeline
Experience integrating Checkmarx, BlackDuck, and NowSecure via scripts and triggers
Experience with SAST using Checkmarx
Experience with DAST using RedHat ACS, BlackDuck, and PrismaCloud
Experience with application security posture management using Apiiro
Experience with false positive triage automation
Experience with SBOM evaluation
Experience developing Python-based bots for troubleshooting and bulk updates
Experience with Ansible playbooks for integration and migration tasks
Experience with Azure DevOps and Jenkins
Experience with Docker container security practices
Experience with authentication and authorization design
Experience with vulnerability management
Experience integrating security into design and implementation phases
Knowledge of ISO27001, SOC 2 Type II, and open-source licensing
For home working, cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload
