About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and grow a defined book of business to support client retention, satisfaction, and pharmacy performance outcomes
  • Serve as the pharmacy subject matter expert for internal stakeholders, clients, brokers, and consultants
  • Partner with medical sales teams on retention and growth strategies aligned with client goals
  • Lead client presentations and meetings, communicate performance results, and recommend pharmacy solutions
  • Identify and advance opportunities to expand pharmacy programs and increase client value
  • Support pricing, competitive intelligence, and carve-out defense strategies
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts for effective service delivery and consistent client communication
  • Analyze pharmacy utilization and trends to provide consultative insights and recommendations
  • Support RFPs, finalist presentations, and implementation activities for new and existing business
  • Act as an escalation point for pharmacy-related client issues and ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of PBM or pharmacy-related experience supporting client accounts
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy benefit management and healthcare operations
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and influence stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze data and develop actionable client recommendations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to travel up to 30% based on business needs
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, not required
  • Experience working with brokers, consultants, and health plan clients
  • Experience supporting complex pharmacy benefit strategies
  • Strong consultative client management experience
  • For home-based work, cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload
