About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and grow a defined book of business by supporting client retention, satisfaction, and pharmacy performance outcomes
- Serve as the pharmacy subject matter expert for internal stakeholders, clients, brokers, and consultants
- Partner with medical sales teams to execute retention and growth strategies aligned to client goals
- Lead client presentations and meetings, communicating performance results and recommending pharmacy solutions
- Identify and advance opportunities to expand pharmacy programs and increase client value
- Support pricing, competitive intelligence, and carve-out defense strategies to retain and grow accounts
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts for effective service delivery and consistent client communication
- Analyze pharmacy utilization and trends to provide consultative insights and recommendations
- Support RFPs, finalist presentations, and implementation activities for new and existing business
- Act as an escalation point for pharmacy-related client issues, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of PBM or pharmacy-related experience supporting client accounts
- Strong understanding of pharmacy benefit management and healthcare operations
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and influence stakeholders
- Ability to analyze data and develop actionable client recommendations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to travel up to 30% based on business needs
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
- Experience working with brokers, consultants, and health plan clients
- Experience supporting complex pharmacy benefit strategies
- Strong consultative client management experience
- If working at home, cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload
