About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate and monitor daily workflow in the pharmacy
- Lead team huddles and provide initial coaching and direction to pharmacy technicians
- Interact with healthcare providers and provide guidance to patients about medication coverage
- Support and train new employees
- Conduct quality and productivity audits
- Identify ongoing training and retraining opportunities on the team
- Create, modify, and adhere to SOP/SWI
- Cross-train in multiple areas while maintaining proficiency and accuracy
- Champion continuous improvement efforts for the team, site, and work stream
- Manage multiple tasks without sacrificing attention to detail
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years Pharmacy Technician work experience
- Valid AZ Pharmacy technician license and national certification
- Experience with Script Med system
- Experience with coaching or mentoring a plus
- Ability to resolve escalations using good judgement and decision making skills
- Deep understanding of the Pharmacy Technician process
- Basic Math skills and strong experience with MS Office, especially with Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment to learn quickly, solve problems, and make decisions with minimal supervision
- Ability to self-direct, multi-task, be accountable, approachable, and organized
- Ability to work a rotating work schedule in the Eastern Standard Zone
- Must reside within the state of Arizona
- Reliable wired internet connectivity; cable broadband or fiber optic service with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload
