About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide customer coaching and support by video and telephone, focusing on stress, anxiety, depression, and other challenges
Perform stress, anxiety, and depression screenings
Identify customer health education needs through targeted health assessments
Refer customers to Cigna Evernorth clinical or client-specific programs as clinically appropriate
Establish health improvement plans and personalized evidence-based goals with customers
Support customers in achieving health goals and becoming active participants in their health outcomes
Help customers overcome barriers to better health
Lead and support group coaching, wellness challenges, and health-related seminars
Use biometric values and motivational interviewing techniques to improve clinical outcomes
Collaborate with matrix partners on client health and wellness strategies
Manage clinical targets and outcome measurements
Develop action plans that drive clinical value
Perform responsibilities within the scope of certification or licensure
Support training or mentorship of new employees as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 1 year of experience in health coaching, health education, and health promotion
Active, unrestricted RN license in the respective state
Ability to maintain required licensure
Compact license or additional state licenses may be required
Current ACLS/BLS/CPR/AED certification
Minimum Associate’s Degree in Nursing
At least 3 years of RN experience in a hospital or provider’s office setting
Highspeed internet and quiet office space in a committed location
Dynamic presentation skills
Ability to work independently
Customer-centric focus
Ability to collaborate professionally with clients and matrix partners
Strong administrative, computer, and software application skills
Adaptability and flexibility
Ability to cover multiple time zones if needed
Bilingual Spanish, with ability to pass oral and written language testing
Behavioral Health experience, including stress reduction, is a bonus
Chronic Disease Management experience is a bonus
NBHWC certification is a bonus
Motivational interview training/experience is a bonus
Master’s degree in psychology or related field is preferred
