About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct individual health coaching sessions
- Identify members’ health advocacy needs
- Use motivational interviewing and engagement strategies to support employee health and wellness
- Provide onsite support to help members identify behavior changes that improve health status, reduce health risks, and improve quality of life
- Deliver health and wellness education through group presentations, support groups, games, quizzes, newsletters, and other media
- Follow up with employees regarding wellness program engagement and future education or referral needs
- Educate employees about wellness programs, tools, and services
- Raise awareness and visibility for wellness initiatives
- Schedule and coordinate wellness events, campaigns, and appointments
- Prepare patients for virtual provider visits
- Perform CLIA-waived testing, laboratory work, input HPI information, biometric testing, and vaccine administration
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the health centers
- Cover health centers in Peachtree City and Griffin, Georgia
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active and unrestricted RN in GA
- Minimum of 3 or more years clinical experience as an RN in a physician’s office or hospital setting
- Experience in health education and wellness coaching preferred
- Demonstrated experience and ability in providing superior client service to organizations and individuals
- Proven administrative abilities with strong computer and software application skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- High energy level and excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-direction and ability to succeed in an independent role
- Virtual/telemedicine experience preferred
- Passion for health improvement and patient education preferred
- Strong computer/technical skills preferred
- If working from home occasionally or permanently, cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with at least 10 Mbps download/5 Mbps upload is required
