About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and key internal stakeholders to deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • Support the management and retention of a portfolio of international clients, ensuring service commitments and client expectations are consistently met
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships, improve client satisfaction, and contribute to revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling initiatives
  • Participate in client and broker meetings, preparing commercial analyses, renewal strategies, and service reviews
  • Collaborate with underwriting, operations, claims, finance, and product teams to deliver effective and timely solutions for clients
  • Support renewal negotiations by gathering market intelligence, analyzing account performance, and preparing client recommendations
  • Proactively manage client queries, escalations, and service concerns, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining client confidence
  • Monitor portfolio performance, identify trends, and provide insights that support retention and growth objectives
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, client advocacy, and overall service excellence
  • Maintain accurate account documentation and ensure adherence to internal governance and compliance requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong commercial mindset with an interest in client retention, revenue growth, and strategic account development
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and influence outcomes across internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills with the confidence to engage with senior-level contacts
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and formulate recommendations
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced international environment
  • Experience in account management, client relationship management, sales support, consulting, insurance, healthcare benefits, financial services, or a related industry is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • English and German: Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Experience of collation of data and statistical analysis
  • Ability to take ownership and demonstrate initiative
  • Capable of prioritising workloads in order to meet tight deadlines
  • Office: Word and Excel
