About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide expert content and professional leadership on IT Project Management assignments/projects
  • Manage, direct, and plan several projects simultaneously
  • Coordinate, schedule, and assign project tasks; build teams and maintain relationships with client functional areas outside IT
  • Apply project management methodologies and reporting techniques to indicate project status
  • Identify, evaluate, and formulate detailed project plans; track milestones and schedules; negotiate and modify schedules and resources
  • Evaluate and report progress using quality and performance metrics common to IT projects
  • Coordinate systems testing, installation, training, and support with client departments
  • Keep informed of technical and operational advances
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and lead or own business-process components
  • Advise functional leaders using deep professional knowledge and acumen
  • Provide thought leadership within IT Project Management and support projects requiring understanding of the larger organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma
  • 3+ years of experience in data exchange/management or IT project management
  • 3+ years of experience in a client/vendor-facing role
  • Experience with execution of load jobs and Mainframe/Rumba/TSO
  • Experience working with EDI (834)/Eligibility file
  • For occasional or permanent home working, cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload
  • Must be located in Morris Plains, New Jersey
