About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Research market trends, identify customer demands and unmet needs, and analyze customer feedback
Partner with product teams across Evernorth to build coordinated solutions
Work in cross-functional teams to explore and enable new product concepts
Scope, size, and create business cases
Articulate strategy, identify monetization levers, size opportunities, and analyze feasibility
Use reporting tools, including the Analyst tool, to extract and analyze formularies, drug lists, clinical data, and financial models
Analyze claims utilization and volume, including margin, trends, indications, drug-level market share, channel management, patient behavior, benchmarking, and key performance indicators
Translate data into insights, identify solutions and needs gaps, design product features, and create concepts and prototypes
Create visualizations using graphs, charts, reporting, and other visualization tools
Project-manage initiatives to meet milestones and deliver solutions on schedule
Independently drive product initiatives that grow profitable volume and enhance customer and client experience with Express Scripts Pharmacies
Support product development across market assessment, pricing strategy, business and technology requirements, benefit/plan design, care management/service model, and product positioning

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience within healthcare / PBM industry
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
Advanced degree or MBA desirable
Experience in supply chain, product, strategic planning, program management, and regulated markets (Medicare / Medicaid)
Understanding of PBM technology systems is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without authority
Ability to break down complex problems into component parts
Proficiency in evaluating data and driving action to create additional value
Comfort working in ambiguous or new situations
Aptitude for structured problem diagnosis, alternative analysis, and recommending and implementing solutions
If working from home, internet service must be cable broadband or fiber optic with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload
