About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide training and supervision to team members
  • Plan, schedule and manage daily workflows for all client relationships within the account
  • Liaise with clients regarding reporting requirements and deadlines, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
  • Act as primary contact with clients and other fund participants
  • Maintain relationships with investors, investment advisors/managers, banks, brokers, auditors and other fund participants
  • Develop, adhere to and maintain targets concerning staffing, production, overtime budgeting and productivity
  • Ensure staff are appropriately trained and conduct performance evaluations
  • Meet fund participant expectations and adhere to deadlines
  • Assist auditors and other fund participants and advisers
  • Participate in presentations to existing and prospective clients
  • Participate in and lead projects connected with the continuing expansion and evolution of the business
  • Participate in managerial functions in conjunction with the Managing Director

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree qualified
  • Ideally possess an accounting qualification
  • Minimum of 8+ years in hedge fund accounting
  • Proven interest in the financial markets and hedge fund industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of hedge fund accounting
  • Proven manager
  • Strong risk knowledge
  • Ability to leverage AI-powered tools and evolving digital technologies
  • Data literacy
  • Strategic thinking and leadership capabilities
