About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create original video and graphic content for all platforms aligned with the network's brand
  • Monitor broadcasts and identify content for social platforms
  • Collaborate with On-Air and Creative Services teams on social-specific content
  • Develop and refine workflow and posting strategy with social and digital teams
  • Capture b-roll, interviews and other content at live sporting events, media days, and on set
  • Mentor a team of social media producers
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the social media producer team, including task delegation, scheduling, and workload management
  • Coordinate social media content requests from Social Media Managers
  • Stay informed about emerging social media platforms, tools, and trends
  • Travel approximately 20%

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS degree in related field preferred; or equivalent work experience
  • Generally, 5+ years of experience in related field preferred
  • Knowledge of social media networks
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to film on an iPhone/DSLR and operate a lavalier microphone
  • Knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and X
  • Understanding of social media analytics
  • Ability to ideate, produce and deliver creative content, including video and graphics, in a timely manner
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Prefer proficiency in Photoshop, Audition, Illustrator and After Effects
