About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Digitize the entire supply chain with SAP IBP to improve planning, control, and optimization.
Connect sales, demand, inventory, and production planning features on a central platform.
Support the technical leadership in further developing the SAP landscape.
Bring external consulting expertise in-house.
Work closely with Operations Procurement (MM) and Sales (SD), translating requirements into IBP logic and SAP supply chain planning solutions.
Support the preparation and delivery of training for newly implemented features and customizations.
Serve as the point of contact for optimization initiatives in the SAP IBP area.
Support SAP colleagues with customizing, debugging, testing, and rollouts.
After completing onboarding, assume partial or full technical leadership of subprojects.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed a university degree, ideally in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Logistics.
At least 6 years of professional experience as an SAP Consultant.
At least 4 years of professional experience in SAP supply chain planning.
Excellent logistics expertise, such as supplier delays, seasonality, and inventory bottlenecks.
At least 2 years of end-to-end experience with IBP implementations or rollouts, including design, testing, and go-live.
At least 3 years of full-time employment with the same employer.
Fluent German (at least C1 level) and good English skills.
Willingness to work from the office 2 days per week.
Willingness to travel to the headquarters near Berlin for onboarding, company events, and workshops.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
Experience with SAP APO and knowledge of transferring planning data back to ERP systems (ECC or S/4HANA) is a plus.
