About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, performance metrics, and KPIs
  • Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior-year results, identifying key financial and operational drivers
  • Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles
  • Develop, maintain, and improve financial models, reports, dashboards, and planning tools
  • Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and business trends, providing actionable insights and recommendations
  • Partner with business leaders to support financial planning, performance management, and decision-making
  • Extract, validate, and analyze financial and operational data from ERP and reporting systems
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and management reporting solutions
  • Support reporting automation, process improvements, and data accuracy initiatives
  • Assist with month-end and year-end activities, including reporting and analysis requirements
  • Support strategic planning through scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and business case evaluations
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses and participate in special projects as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Analytical skills with a knack for numbers
  • Understanding of accounting principles
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Hands-on experience operating spreadsheets and accounting software (Net Suites Oracle)
  • High proficiency in English and MS Office, including Power BI and Power Query
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Successful completion of post-secondary education preferably in bookkeeping, accounting or a related field, or completion of two years (first level) of a recognized professional accounting program (e.g., Chartered Accounting, Certified General Accounting), or equivalent working experience
  • 2–4 years of accounting experience required
