About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Research, analyze, and resolve deductions on customer payments while adhering to established processes
Ensure coding, reporting, and financial impact accuracy
Drive results with brokers, sales, and sales support on pre-determined deduction metrics
Follow up with customers on invalid deductions
Lead collaboration on key accounting and finance decisions
Provide insight to Supply Chain partners on cost savings and avoidance opportunities
Support scorecard adherence
Generate ideas and maintain and utilize department tools and dashboards
Identify customer payment trends and opportunities through data analysis
Build relationships with internal and external partners to improve customer behavior
Manage daily responsibilities and special projects supporting business activities and needs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree
1 year of related business experience
Effective interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to build relationships with internal and external partners
Intermediate Excel skills (V-Lookup, Pivot Table, Formulas)
Strong problem solving and analytical skills for managing complex business situations and achieving objectives
Ability to organize information and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in time sensitive situations
Ability to display indirect leadership across other functional areas to accomplish company goals
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Business, Finance, or Supply Chain focused degree
Experience in the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry
Data visualization tool experience (i.e. Spotfire, Tableau)
Career interest in the Supply Chain and/or Finance field
