About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop demand, supply, inventory, and production plans for the Coffee business across company-operated sites and co-manufacturers
  • Develop the integrated planning process to optimize customer service and profitability
  • Identify and implement best practices in demand planning, supply planning, deployment planning, and inventory management
  • Manage integrated planning quality, cost, performance, and risk over the short and long term
  • Manage centralized planning for bakeries and co-manufacturers
  • Perform long-range rough-cut capacity planning by pack form/category
  • Manage MRP for all sites
  • Achieve company objectives for case fill, inventory turns, and product obsolescence
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to create annual and seasonal inventory plans supporting budgets and product strategies
  • Lead limited-time-offer integrated planning processes and business continuity plans for targeted supply chains
  • Partner with corporate and plant operations personnel to develop capabilities and plans that deliver service at best cost and meet inventory targets
  • Support supply optimization and expansion projects
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and VMI analysts on sales volume forecasting for key customer accounts
  • Participate in cross-functional monthly key customer calls and the S&OP process with Marketing, Finance, and Operations
  • Maintain operational integrity, communication channels, and prompt issue resolution
  • Partner with IS to identify system enhancements for demand, supply, deployment, and inventory planning
  • Influence business partners in Sales, Marketing, and Operations to improve systems and processes
  • Develop, coach, and mentor talent to build a world-class integrated planning organization
  • Continue building technical capability within the organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 10 years of related experience
  • Advanced experience in integrated business planning, ideally in a multi-brand, multi-category, multi-channel environment
  • Experience leading an S&OP process
  • Experience preparing master schedules for large and diverse SKU mixes at multiple production locations
  • Experience managing safety, cycle, and transit stock inventory levels
  • Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, and presentation skills
  • Strong spreadsheet and database management skills
  • Forecasting and inventory management experience
  • Experience managing others and building teams with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Undisputed integrity and personal and business ethics
  • Ability to build trust and respect with different stakeholder groups
  • Ability to manage direct and indirect staff in a consensus-driven, fast-paced, changing environment
  • Preference for operations, project management, and change management experience
  • Recognized as an internal expert to business customers in Supply & Demand planning
  • Strong interpersonal skills
