About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the Finance lead for the Dog Snacks brands
- Provide objective financial leadership, business visibility, and decision support to achieve Pet SBA sales and profit objectives
- Lead monthly financial reviews for the Dog Snacks brands
- Perform new item and ad hoc analysis
- Provide financial guidance on key business drivers, risks, and opportunities
- Partner with the Pet Sales Strategy and Planning team on customer strategies and financial targets
- Support planning, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Maintain data integrity across key inputs and assumptions
- Lead Trade and Introduction Spend forecast reviews
- Identify forecast gaps and trade funding balances
- Analyze incremental opportunities and translate financial insights into actionable recommendations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field
- 4+ years of progressive Finance experience
- Excellent Excel spreadsheet capabilities
- Ability to translate analysis into clear insights and recommendations
- Ability to influence cross-functional partners and build effective relationships
- Strong business acumen with ability to connect financial results to strategy
- Highly organized with strong focus on accuracy and precision
