About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare financial analysis and projections for various initiatives
  • Perform pre/post initiative analysis and recommendations
  • Provide fact-based decision support to business partners and leadership teams
  • Present financial data at monthly business reviews and financial reviews
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand financial results and outlook, and identify improvement opportunities
  • Lead analysis and processes supporting the Annual Financial Plan and Long-Range Plan
  • Support process improvement, standardization, simplification, and technological advancement projects
  • Analyze business scenarios and communicate implications and outlook
  • Monitor business trends to deliver short- and long-term objectives
  • Develop understanding of packaged food categories, retailers, consumers, and competition
  • Provide financial perspective to Marketing, Innovation, Brand Commercialization, and other constituents
  • Understand corporate, brand, customer, and production planning and forecasting cycles
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end actuals and forecasts
  • Communicate actual and anticipated results through reporting and insightful dialogue

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience working in a corporate finance, accounting, audit, or similar function
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to develop relationships, communicate effectively, and influence others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience with financial systems such as Hyperion, Spotfire, and Oracle
  • MBA, CPA, CMA, or other advanced degree or certification
