Senior Technologist, FH&S Product Development

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead formulation development for new and existing Uncrustables breads and sandwich products
- Develop and execute learning plans addressing business needs and translate technical findings into recommendations
- Serve as a project team member or technical lead on innovation, renovation, and transformation initiatives
- Plan and support lab, pilot plant, scale-up, and manufacturing trials at internal and contract manufacturing sites
- Apply technical judgment, experimental design, and data analysis to solve formulation and process challenges
- Maintain technical documentation, specifications, and data governance practices
- Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Technical Services, Procurement, Quality, and external partners
- Support food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements through formulation practices and technical review
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science or another scientific discipline
- 2+ years of technical experience in R&D or a related technical discipline, preferably in Human Food, Bakery, and/or Snacks
- Strong foundation in food formulation and product development
- Working knowledge of stage gate processes, product specifications, and technical documentation
- Ability to apply statistical analysis and translate technical data into actionable recommendations
- Food safety foundation; PCQI training is a plus
- Strong communication skills for translating technical information to cross-functional audiences
- Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting ability in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build credibility and productive relationships across teams and disciplines
- Ability to use data, visualization, and storytelling to influence project decisions
- Continuous learning and flexibility to support business needs, including hybrid work expectations
