About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in negotiating, reviewing, and executing federal contracts, RFPs, RFQs, NDAs, teaming agreements, task orders, modifications, and subcontracts
- Build and manage relationships with Government Contracting Officers and external organizations
- Exercise independent judgment in planning activities and solving complex contract issues
- Collaborate with program managers, finance, legal, business development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiation teams
- Negotiate and administer contracts with Intelligence Community customers
- Evaluate contracts for modifications or extensions and ensure program compliance with contractual obligations
- Maintain contract hours and funding budgets in Unanet
- Prepare subcontracts, teaming agreements, and vendor purchase order agreements
- Coordinate and support contract audits, reviews, and compliance assessments
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in federal contracting
- Provide expertise in federal government contract administration and analyze bids and proposals
- Advise and support new business pursuits and proposal submissions
- Ensure final contract documents reflect negotiated agreements and maintain contract communications for timely execution
Requirements
What you’ll need- U.S. Citizenship is required
- BA/BS with 6+ years of federal contracts management experience
- Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Experience working with multiple contract types, including Firm Fixed Price, Fixed Price Incentive Fee, Cost Plus Fixed Price, and Time and Material
- Experience with Unanet is required
- Extensive knowledge of federal contracting regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific regulations
- Experience working with federal government agencies such as DoD, DHS, or others
- Demonstrated experience leading contract negotiations, including pricing, terms and conditions, and subcontractor agreements
- Demonstrated experience with Prime to Federal Government, Prime to Subcontractor, and Subcontractor to Prime relationships
- Strong understanding of fixed-price, cost reimbursement, time and materials, and IDIQ contracts
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining complete and accurate contract files
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated analytic and negotiation skills and contracting knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with managing contracts with the NSA is a plus
