About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist with overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and document control
  • Provide technical direction and ensure compliance with quality standards, project planning, cost management, time management, contract administration, code compliance and safety
  • Assist in establishing project objectives, performance requirements, and project participant selection
  • Assist with resource utilization and procurement of labor, materials and equipment
  • Prepare scopes of work, solicit bids, and assist with project budgeting and forecasting
  • Assist with subcontractor and supplier negotiations, contracts, purchase orders, disputes, back charges, and change orders
  • Perform site visits and support quality inspections, testing, warranty documentation, and issue resolution
  • Prepare and update construction schedules; identify and report schedule impacts and delays
  • Coordinate safety documentation, preconstruction safety meetings, and resolution of safety violations
  • Manage plans, specifications, shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, meeting documents, and project records
  • Communicate daily with the Project Superintendent and Project Manager and attend project team meetings
  • Coordinate client deliverables and compile closeout documents, as-built drawings, warranties, certificates of occupancy, and lien releases
  • Coordinate and manage warranty activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Civil related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Preferred 3+ years of experience managing the construction of multi-family projects
  • Stable employment history and proven track record
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Timberline, Bluebeam, Adobe and Onscreen Takeoff software a plus
  • Driver’s License required
  • OSHA 10 hour preferred
  • First Aid-AED training
  • Additional safety certifications a plus
