About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and document control
- Provide technical direction and ensure compliance with quality standards, project planning, cost management, time management, contract administration, code compliance and safety
- Assist in preparing scopes of work, estimating, soliciting bids, reviewing bids, and preparing contracts and purchase orders
- Maintain project budgets, forecasts, cost issues, change orders, back charges, invoices, refunds, bonds, and final project costs
- Ensure quality standards, inspections, testing, warranty documentation, and compliance with construction documents
- Coordinate and update construction schedules, identify delays, track weather delays, and obtain certificates of occupancy
- Evaluate hazards, coordinate safety documentation and meetings, and resolve safety violations
- Procure, track, review, distribute, and obtain approval for shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs
- Coordinate project meetings and communication among project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, owners, lenders, and agencies
- Assemble and file as-built drawings, warranties, certificates of occupancy, lien releases, closeout documents, subcontracts, insurance certificates, and bonds
- Coordinate and manage warranty activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Civil related field preferred or equivalent relevant experience
- Preferred 3+ years of experience managing the construction of multi-family projects
- Stable employment history and proven track record
- Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Knowledge of Timberline, Bluebeam, Adobe and Onscreen Takeoff software a plus
- Driver’s License Required
- OSHA 10 hour preferred
- First Aid-AED training
- Additional safety certifications a plus
