About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure proper document control at the project site office for all phases of construction
  • Provide document support and assist field staff with project administration and document field construction issues
  • Assist the Project Manager and Project Superintendent
  • Create and track submittal schedules and logs; review submittals against plans and specifications
  • Maintain construction job logs, status reports, RFIs, change orders, shop drawings, files, photographs, and project documentation
  • Schedule inspections and track inspections and re-inspections, including City and Third Party inspections
  • Maintain SWPPP and assist with OSHA safety and risk management standards
  • Assist with subcontractor draws, payroll, materials, supplies, and inventory
  • Manage plan revisions, consultant inspection reports, deficiency logs, owner changes, project reports, and close-out records
  • Coordinate quality control items and work with subcontractors and vendors on quality and cost control
  • Proactively identify project issues and facilitate solutions
  • Maintain meeting minutes and project controls
  • Collect warranty materials and prepare close-out documents
  • Perform relevant duties assigned by the Project Superintendent or Project Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Civil related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum two years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in Multi-Family Housing
  • Relevant experience in a construction environment and familiarity with inspector guidelines, building codes and safety practices
  • Use of Project Management Software (PlanGrid, Timberline Project Management, Procore, etc.)
  • Third party general contractor experience
  • Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints
  • Driver’s License Required
