About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage sensitive and complex cases, including neonatal and maternal deaths, coroner findings, and major inquiries
- Lead investigations into Fitness to Practise referrals
- Ensure investigations are fair, proportionate, and legally compliant
- Maintain the highest professional standards in casework
- Work within the expanded Sensitive and Complex Casework Team
- Move between teams as the flow of work dictates
- Help deliver outcomes on cases quickly and within a reasonable timeframe
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- In-depth investigative expertise
- Ability to review and work with sensitive and distressing material relating to fitness to practise cases
- Ability to attend an office location twice per week under the hybrid working policy
- Successful completion of pre-employment checks
