About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and sustain meaningful connections between OCD Anxiety Centers and local and national communities
  • Bridge the alumni program with broader community outreach
  • Turn former clients into advocates and amplify the organization’s mission through storytelling and events
  • Support programs across all OCD Anxiety Centers locations
  • Manage and grow the alumni program through consistent outreach and re-engagement strategies
  • Host multiple virtual support meetings per week and develop session content and facilitation guides
  • Develop and maintain an Alumni Portal with the digital marketing team
  • Encourage alumni to return for treatment when clinically appropriate and sensitively appropriate
  • Recruit, train, and manage alumni advocates across the country
  • Maintain one active ambassador per market and provide ongoing communication and support
  • Partner with the Marketing Director on advocate stories, campaigns, and media outreach
  • Create written and multimedia content for support meetings, the alumni portal, email, and social media
  • Gather and shape alumni stories for testimonials, press releases, and awareness campaigns with informed consent and client dignity
  • Contribute alumni stories and engagement highlights to the broader content calendar
  • Track participation, engagement trends, and outcomes in structured reports
  • Collaborate with Admissions, Clinical, and Marketing teams
  • Maintain accurate records of alumni participation, advocate assignments, and event outcomes
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of experience in behavioral health, community outreach, social services, or patient engagement
  • Experience in or strong familiarity with OCD, anxiety disorders, or trauma-informed care
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing community events
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously
  • Availability for occasional evening work, 2–3 evenings per week, scheduled in advance, and periodic weekend commitments
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, communications, public health, or a related field preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software
  • Accurate and efficient electronic data entry
  • Must be punctual and maintain excellent attendance
  • Organized, detail-oriented, takes initiative, and completes responsibilities independently
  • Multitasking, problem-solving, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in changing work environments, including inside, outside, loud-noise, remote, and in-person settings
  • Preferred: experience managing an alumni, ambassador, or volunteer program
  • Preferred: familiarity with CRM tools, alumni portals, or community management platforms
  • Preferred: comfort with content creation, on-camera storytelling, or social media collaboration
  • Preferred: existing relationships within the behavioral health or mental health advocacy community
