About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan projects and develop technology for all areas of the Medical Center
- Optimize precertification work queues and productivity
- Implement new technology to optimize the precertification process
- Manage notification of admission and internal and external BOT technology
- Leverage EPIC hospital billing system technology, including EmPA and ASA
- Serve as subject matter expert for external insurance company processes and portals
- Maximize technology deployment in the hospital billing system
- Assist with implementation of new programs
- Develop outcome measurements
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO standards and other regulatory agencies
- Evaluate complex issues and understand escalation procedures
- Provide high-level customer service and consideration
- Operationalize the Medical Center's strategic plan to improve access, services, and reimbursement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- Health care experience desired
- Prior demonstration of leadership and management skills
- Computer experience required
- Knowledge of applications and systems demonstrating proficiency
- Strong demonstrated verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Professionalism and ability to win confidence of people at various organizational levels
- Successful completion of a background check required for final candidates
- Drug screen or physical may be required during the post-offer process
