About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct in-person interviews for research studies by administering web surveys using department-provided laptops
- Enter respondents’ homes or meet at acceptable alternate locations at respondents’ request
- Collect hair and blood spot biomarkers at the end of home visits
- Return collected biomarkers to CHRR
- Use Tasso M-20 arm devices or 18-gauge retractable lancets for blood collection
- Collect approximately 50 strands of hair using new scissors for each subject
- Travel to various locations inside the I-270 loop in Columbus, Ohio
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED is required
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation to make home visits at various locations inside the I-270 loop in Columbus, OH
- Able to carry a laptop bag containing two laptops and accessories, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Willing and able to collect biomarker samples (hair and blood spots) with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Able and willing to enter respondents’ homes or meet at an acceptable alternate location
- Availability for days, evenings, and/or weekends based on respondent availability
- Successful completion of a background check; drug screen or physical may be required during the post-offer process
