About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Answer calls and written inquiries from clients, insureds, attorneys, and adjusters
  • Collect accident details to determine potential sources of recovery
  • Promote or demote cases based on collected information
  • Support a positive caller experience in call queues
  • Engage with and educate customers
  • Manage high-volume inquiries through calls, voicemails, faxes, scanned correspondence, and emails
  • Identify and assess customer needs to maximize client satisfaction
  • Assist callers in real time with data collection or education
  • Transfer or redirect calls to appropriate Recovery Specialists
  • Use internal systems and resources to provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain phone coverage and minimize missed or abandoned calls
  • Review, promote, and activate client and Phia-generated referrals
  • Collect and document attorney and adjuster information in the system
  • Handle calls, case activations, data entry, and data management within company guidelines
  • Respond to department requests through the online questionnaire portal
  • Research automatic updates from a national database used to identify third-party claims
  • Review scanned documentation for systematic updates, including Phia Accident Questionnaires
  • Generate client-specific reports weekly as needed
  • Protect company assets and comply with information security policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of experience in a law firm, insurance company, Third Party Administrator (TPA), or medical field
  • Call center experience
  • Located in MST or PST preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Bilingual preferred, but not required
  • Remote work or education experience
  • Private workspace with closed off door for privacy
  • Sufficient internet speed to support video, IP phone, and multi-system usage
  • No distractions in home that would require assistance during working hours
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of good telephone etiquette, soft skills, and emotional intelligence
  • Effective listening skills
  • Mastery of time management and organization with ability to pivot from task to task
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation
  • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Ability to work a different earlier shift during the first four weeks of training
  • Must protect company assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, or modification
  • Must comply with the organization's information security policies
  • Ability to sit at a workstation for prolonged periods and perform extensive computer work
