About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and coordinate the software engineering team
- Support the entire development process, from the concept phase through go-live
- Gather, evaluate, and prioritize product requirements from various stakeholders
- Take company goals and user needs into account
- Develop a platform vision together with management
- Derive the product strategy and roadmap
- Act as a sparring partner for business and technical questions within your own team and across other teams
- Maintain the backlog
- Create user stories
- Drive the technological development and optimization of the platform
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed university degree, ideally in computer science, or equivalent qualification
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience, for example as a Product Owner in e-commerce or in software development
- Experience managing IT projects
- Excellent knowledge of agile methodologies, such as Scrum
- Excellent knowledge of Confluence and Jira
- Holistic product perspective balancing customer, market, and technology considerations
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Independent, creative, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Confident and professional manner
- Ability to lead teams functionally
- Enjoyment of working with colleagues from different disciplines
- German-language skills required for work conducted in German; English is used in the posting but is not explicitly stated as a requirement
