About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design user-centered, data-driven digital experiences for sustainable e-commerce
- Work across User Experience, User Interface, and Conversion Optimization
- Create wireframes and prototypes and collaborate using Figma/FigJam
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research and testing
- Maintain and further develop Design Systems, Pattern Libraries, and Atomic Design structures
- Deliver accessible web experiences in accordance with WCAG 2.1 AA
- Use AI tools within the design workflow
- Manage IT projects using agile methodologies
- Provide functional leadership to teams and collaborate with colleagues from a range of disciplines
- Identify opportunities for improvement and advance key areas creatively and with a solution-oriented approach
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of professional experience in User Experience, User Interface, and Conversion Optimization, ideally in an e-commerce environment
- Advanced proficiency with Figma (wireframes, prototyping, collaboration) and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Looker, Matomo, and Kameleoon
- Strong knowledge of Atomic Design, Pattern Libraries, and Design Systems
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and practical experience delivering accessible web experiences
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative research and testing methods
- Practical experience using AI tools in the design workflow
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
- Completed university degree, ideally in Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience managing IT projects and working with agile methodologies such as SCRUM, as well as tools such as Confluence and Jira
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Experience with functional team leadership and interdisciplinary collaboration
