Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and optimize a cloud platform with a focus on AWS
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code environments, particularly using Terraform
  • Automate processes with Python, Go, Bash, and AWS-native services
  • Design, operate, and improve CI/CD pipelines, such as those built with GitHub Actions, for applications and infrastructure components
  • Develop self-service solutions for development teams and support their operational use
  • Design monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and further develop the cloud platform through new technologies and approaches

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Primary residence in Germany
  • Experience building, operating, and automating cloud infrastructures, ideally on AWS
  • Understanding of the fundamental principles of modern cloud architectures
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, particularly Terraform
  • Experience with automation and scripting, such as Python, Go, or Bash
  • Knowledge of CI/CD principles and deployment automation, such as GitHub Actions or comparable pipelines
  • Basic understanding of cloud security concepts, such as IAM, networking, and least privilege
  • Foundational knowledge of monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability
  • Ability to gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, communicate clearly, and collaborate constructively across teams
  • Ideally, experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
