About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and own the rolling 2–3 year transformation roadmap for processes, data and systems
  • Take end-to-end ownership of Finance & Controlling processes, from financial close to costing and intercompany accounting
  • Turn function-by-function activities into clear, connected processes with one accountable owner
  • Lead the community of Global Process Owners and set a shared agenda for cross-functional improvements
  • Drive automation, digitalisation and smarter use of data to replace manual and spreadsheet-based workarounds
  • Pressure-test process and systems architecture against growth plans, including new brands, markets, channels and M&A
  • Set up governance to prioritise, sequence and fund transformation initiatives
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of process owners and subject-matter leads
  • Partner with the CFO and executive team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar
  • 10+ years of experience in Finance, Controlling or Accounting
  • Several years leading global finance process design in a multinational, multi-entity organisation
  • Expert knowledge of FI/CO processes, including Record-to-Report, close, fixed assets, accruals, intercompany, profitability analysis and costing
  • Proven track record of defining and delivering multi-year transformation roadmaps in a scaling organisation
  • Hands-on experience with modern ERP platforms, e.g. SAP S/4HANA
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills
  • Experience in a Global Process Owner or comparable process-ownership model
  • Hands-on, structured and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Fluent English
  • German is highly desirable
  • IFRS knowledge and FMCG/consumer goods experience are a plus
