About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independently lead capital investment and optimization projects in production and packaging—from the initial concept through handover to operations
  • Plan and implement new process and packaging lines
  • Develop project concepts and business cases
  • Implement capacity expansions and equipment modifications
  • Analyze existing production processes and identify optimization opportunities
  • Implement measures to increase productivity, automation, OEE, and equipment availability
  • Prepare technical specifications and statements of work
  • Conduct feasibility and cost-effectiveness analyses
  • Support the selection and design of new equipment and production layouts
  • Coordinate external partners and collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Controlling
  • Support commissioning and production ramp-up activities
  • Train operations and maintenance teams
  • Ensure compliance with quality, food safety, health and safety, and environmental standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree in process engineering, food technology, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable technical qualification
  • Several years of experience in technical project management, ideally in the food, beverage, or consumer goods industry
  • Experience with production and packaging equipment, CAPEX, and capital investment projects
  • Knowledge of equipment engineering and automation or process optimization
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera
  • Knowledge of SAP as well as CAD and layout software is a plus
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, structured and analytical approach, entrepreneurial mindset, cost awareness, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Confident communication with a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to maintain an overview while managing multiple projects in parallel
