About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Teach English online to young learners aged 4–16 based in China
Deliver one-on-one and one-on-two classes using ClassIn
Conduct regular 25-minute classes and 21–25-minute demo classes
Teach within 12:00–15:30 SAST, Monday to Sunday
Maintain a minimum of 14 teaching hours per week, up to six days per week
Build relationships with regular students and support their progress
Manage student-booked hours and develop a recurring schedule
Complete recruitment and onboarding before starting

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed tertiary qualification in any field
Accredited 120-hour TEFL, TESOL, CELTA or equivalent certification
Minimum 1 year of teaching experience
Clear, effective spoken English
Consistent weekly availability
Experience or aptitude for teaching young learners aged 4–16
Intel® Core™ i5 or higher computer
Minimum 8GB RAM
Fibre internet connection with 20 Mbps upload and 30 Mbps download via LAN cable
UPS backup power with 4–5 hours of battery life
Noise-cancelling headset and HD webcam
