About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and evolve backend services in Go, including microservices and BFFs for mobile and web clients
Design and implement integrations with external financial APIs, brokerage platforms, payment providers, market data providers, and custodial services
Work with event-driven architecture using Kafka and the ClickHouse analytical data warehouse
Discuss architectural decisions and write technical designs
Conduct code reviews
Ensure service reliability and observability through metrics, logs, and alerts
Participate in incident reviews
Work with financial data security, authentication, anti-fraud mechanisms, and regulatory compliance
Collaborate in a small cross-functional team of product owners, DevOps, QA, designers, backend engineers, and frontend engineers

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of commercial Go development experience
Solid knowledge of the standard library, concurrency (goroutines, channels, context), and gRPC/REST
Experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database
Understanding of transactions and data consistency
Experience with message brokers such as Kafka
Understanding of distributed systems principles: idempotency, retries, and failure handling
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes at the developer level
Habit of writing tests and working through code review
Russian as the team's working language
English sufficient to read documentation
Nice to have: fintech experience in brokerage, payments, banking, or KYC/AML
Nice to have: ClickHouse experience
Nice to have: AWS, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD familiarity
Nice to have: experience integrating with financial APIs
Nice to have: observability systems experience with Prometheus, Grafana, VictoriaMetrics, or VictoriaLogs
