About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsibility for the proper financial accounting of the company group in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)
Ensuring compliance with statutory, tax, and accounting requirements
Continuously developing, digitizing, and automating accounting processes
Supporting budget planning, forecasting, and liquidity management through analysis and reporting
Responsibility for intercompany reconciliations and group-wide financial processes
Collaborating with management, tax advisors, auditors, and internal departments
Identifying optimization opportunities and establishing efficient structures
Contributing to the continued development of the Finance organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed degree or vocational training in business administration, with a focus on accounting or finance, or an equivalent qualification
Several years of professional experience in accounting
In-depth knowledge of accounting in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)
Good understanding of tax-related matters
Proficiency with ERP systems, such as DATEV
Proficiency with standard MS Office applications
Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
Initiative, a strong sense of responsibility, and a hands-on mentality
Fluency in written and spoken German and English
