About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own end-to-end delivery of a cross-functional Data squad aligned to Logistics & Fulfilment
Partner with Product, Engineering and Business teams to define and deliver strategic roadmaps
Manage dependencies, risks, governance and delivery milestones across multiple initiatives
Build stakeholder relationships and translate technical concepts into meaningful business outcomes
Support and coach agile delivery teams to drive high performance and continuous improvement
Facilitate planning, reporting and decision-making processes
Drive accountability, collaboration and value-focused delivery
Work with internal teams and external partners to achieve successful outcomes
Lead programmes and products while balancing pace, quality, risk and business value
Align priorities across multiple squads and resolve delivery blockers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience delivering complex data products, platforms or initiatives within Data, Analytics, Data Engineering or Platform environments
Strong understanding of modern data technologies including data pipelines, ETL processes, cloud data platforms and data warehousing concepts
Experience working with product backlogs, roadmaps, prioritisation and outcome-based planning
Ability to build credibility with Engineers, Architects, Product Managers and senior business leaders
Experience leading delivery across multiple cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
Experience applying agile, lean and traditional delivery approaches
Strong risk, dependency and programme management capabilities
Experience coaching teams and promoting continuous improvement
Experience working with external suppliers and delivery partners
Experience within Retail, eCommerce, Logistics or Supply Chain environments is desirable
Exposure to AWS-based data platforms and modern cloud technologies is desirable
Experience delivering data transformation or platform modernisation programmes is desirable
Successful candidates are required to undertake credit, CIFAS and Right to Work checks, and, where specifically required, a DBS check
