About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create, update and maintain accurate planograms, visual merchandising layouts and store planning documents
- Manage planning data, store layouts and space allocation records
- Support the production and distribution of store communications and implementation guides
- Respond to store queries and provide day-to-day planning support
- Assist with seasonal launches, campaigns, space trials and store projects
- Work closely with the Buying Team, Retail Operations, Marketing, Property and Merchandising teams
- Identify issues, escalate risks and continuously improve planning processes, tools and ways of working
- Coordinate routine planning and visual merchandising activity
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing layouts, data and guidance
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-moving retail environment
- Confident with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other Office applications
- Positive and proactive, with a willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility
- Customer-focused approach
- Curious and eager to learn
- Problem-solving ability
- Desirable experience in retail, merchandising, store operations or space planning
- Desirable knowledge of planogram software such as Spaceman
- Desirable understanding of visual merchandising principles and store layouts
- Desirable experience supporting store or field-based teams
