About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the client’s business and data
  • Build robust products using appropriate algorithms, maintainable and tested code, and robust, reliable data pipelines
  • Design the product architecture and integrate it into the client’s information system through to production deployment
  • Develop and share technical expertise within Theodo Data & AI
  • Contribute to Theodo’s technical blog
  • Explore new tools and methods to improve team efficiency
  • Collaborate within a project team consisting of 2 to 4 data engineers, a Product Manager, and a Tech Lead

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • In the final year of an engineering degree or a recent graduate
  • Strong interest in data
  • Ideally, an initial experience in consulting or technology
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies: Spark, Scala, and Hadoop
  • Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, a cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Eager to grow in a demanding yet supportive environment
