Key responsibilities & impact- Join the FPGA Design Team
- Contribute modules to a library used across the product range
- Write timing constraints and understand timing reports
- Modify designs where necessary to close timing
- Work with hardware, software, and mechanical engineers to bring new products to market
- Write module specifications and review drafts
- Conduct code and documentation reviews
- Write library code according to company coding standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with the cocotb Python library is desirable
- SystemVerilog
- Python
- RTL verification
- Writing timing constraints and ensuring these are met
- Design for low power
- Writing module specifications and reviewing drafts
- Code and documentation review
- Writing code for a library to a company coding standard
- Familiarity with the Linux command line
- Familiarity with version control software (SVN or Git)
- Familiarity with Markdown
- Committed to engineering best practices in FPGA code development
- Able to work effectively within an established team, following existing frameworks and contributing to continuous improvement of team capabilities
- Must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application
- Visa sponsorship is not provided
