  • Develop applications using Angular 10+, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Flutter or React Native
  • Set up CI/CD pipelines with build and test automation
  • Champion and support adoption of commercial AI development tools
  • Participate in presales and project-led customer engagements
  • Articulate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Work across Theta’s digital consultancy engagements to deliver impactful technology solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years delivering software solutions in a commercial environment
  • Deep, hands-on experience with the Microsoft C# development stack on .NET
  • Significant development experience utilising Angular 10+, JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Significant development experience with either Flutter or React Native
  • Superb oral and written communication skills, with ability to articulate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Customer-facing experience, ideally in a consultancy environment, in presales and project-led interactions
  • Familiarity with software development best practices and modern architecture patterns
  • Leadership experience running software development squads
  • Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines with build and test automation, e.g. Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
  • Track record championing/supporting adoption of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code in a commercial environment
  • Applicants must already reside in Wellington with relevant visas
  • Consent to a Ministry of Justice criminal record check required
  • Nice to have: experience working in Scrum and Kanban teams
  • Nice to have: familiarity with Python
  • Nice to have: web development experience using React and similar frameworks
  • Nice to have: relevant Microsoft certifications
  • Nice to have: experience in non-Microsoft tools and frameworks
