About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administer and monitor enterprise cloud environments, including subscriptions, identities, resource management and process/task automation
  • Monitor and report on cloud resource utilization and consumption
  • Prepare, update and maintain reports and workflows
  • Prepare, update and maintain policies, guidelines and SOPs
  • Provision and de-provision development environments and DevOps projects
  • Provide second-line support to Frontex application development teams regarding cloud services
  • Coordinate with third-line support
  • Participate in coordination and project meetings
  • Perform other specific duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum level of education: Level 6
  • Minimum English language skills: B2
  • Minimum IT relevant experience: 5 years (2 years in relevant roles)
  • Security clearance required: CONFIDENTIEL UE/EU CONFIDENTIAL
  • At least 1 certification required among mid-level AWS/Azure/Google Cloud certification or an internationally recognized equivalent
  • Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert AZ-400
  • HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate AZ-500
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solution Architect Expert AZ-305
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate AZ-104
  • Technical knowledge of enterprise cloud technology services, including Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
  • Experience building cloud services including compute, storage and network
  • Excellent scripting and programming experience with PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Go, Bash, Windows command prompt and object-oriented programming languages
  • Demonstrable Linux administration and scripting experience, preferably Red Hat
  • Basic knowledge administering Microsoft systems
  • Deep knowledge of DevOps principles and Infrastructure-as-a-Service concepts and techniques
  • Knowledge of cloud security and compliance tools
  • Experience collaborating with multiple support groups
  • Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL-based change, configuration and release management processes
  • Good organizational, prioritization, communication and teamwork skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated and user-oriented
  • Able to cope with rapidly changing technologies
