About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer and monitor enterprise cloud environments, including subscriptions, identities, resource management, and process/task automation.
- Monitor and report on cloud resource utilization and consumption.
- Prepare, update, and maintain reports and workflows.
- Prepare, update, and maintain policies, guidelines, and SOPs.
- Provision and de-provision development environments and DevOps projects.
- Provide 2nd-line support to Frontex application development teams regarding cloud services.
- Coordinate with 3rd-line support.
- Participate in coordination and project meetings.
- Perform other specific duties assigned by the supervisor.
- Build and operate secure Azure enterprise environments for Frontex, driving automation, monitoring, and cloud support.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum level of education: Level 6.
- Minimum English language skills: B2.
- Minimum IT relevant experience: 5 years (2 years in relevant roles).
- Security Clearance: Is required (required from day 45 of assignment) - CONFIDENTIEL UE/EU CONFIDENTIAL.
- At least a mid-level AWS/Azure/Google Cloud certification, or an equivalent internationally recognized certification accepted by the Contracting Authority.
- Azure Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing, or operating Azure Enterprise-Scale Landing Zones based on the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
- Technical knowledge of one or more enterprise cloud technology services: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Experience building compute, storage, and network cloud services.
- Excellent scripting and programming experience with PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Go, Bash, Windows command prompt, and object-oriented programming languages.
- Demonstrable Linux administration and scripting experience, preferably Red Hat.
- Basic knowledge administering Microsoft systems.
- Deep knowledge of DevOps principles and Infrastructure-as-a-Service concepts and techniques.
- Knowledge of cloud security and compliance tools and practices.
- Experience collaborating with multiple support groups.
- Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL-based change, configuration, and release management processes.
- Good organizational, prioritization, communication, and user-orientation skills.
- Ability to cope with rapidly changing technologies.
