About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Set standards for design, development, quality, and testing
Design and communicate core ICT systems architecture
Design interoperability and interfaces with on-premises and cloud systems
Elicit needs and analyze requirements
Translate business, user, and technical needs into architectures
Map business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, and system features
Analyze available systems, applications, and services
Identify potential solution options
Maintain and track architecture throughout the systems lifecycle
Estimate and size software development work for core ICT systems and platforms
Contribute to systems design, testing, quality assurance, and change management
Prepare system documentation and deliver presentations
Lead development teams and development processes
Select and evaluate technologies
Collect and interpret system metrics
Optimize systems for performance, security, and quality
Contribute to the Enterprise Architecture repository and manage artifacts such as ICT Baseline and Technology Catalogue

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum level of education: Level 7 (Master´s Degree required)
Minimum English language skills: B2
Minimum IT relevant experience: 8 years (5 years in relevant roles)
Security Clearance: Is required (required from day 45 of assignment) - CONFIDENTIEL UE/EU CONFIDENTIAL
At least 2 certifications among: VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization; Azure Solutions Architect Expert; Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA); Iasa Architect CITA-A; or internationally recognized equivalent certifications
Key architect experience in development of at least 2 enterprise-wide ICT systems migration and core ICT systems deployment
Expert in hybrid systems architecting
Expert in designing enterprise-level core ICT systems and solutions
Expert in planning capacity and security of integration platform capabilities
Familiarity with virtualization, containerization, on-premises and cloud infrastructure
Excellent technical knowledge of Identity Management and Active Directory, Microsoft System Centre, databases, application servers, monitoring, middleware, modern workplace solutions, cloud integration patterns, cloud migration frameworks, systems integration, and software and asset management
Knowledge of UML systems design
Familiarity with ITILv4 process design and implementation
Proficiency with systems modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect or Aris Architect
Familiarity with DevSecOps
Familiarity with architecture standards/frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or Azure Well-Architected Framework
Experience with Archimate modelling
Experience applying architecture styles and patterns
Excellent communication, documentation, problem-solving, and leadership skills
