About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver one-on-one online math lessons for students in Grades 5-8 across North America, aligned with the CCSS framework
- Teach in English using interactive and student-centered methods to promote engagement, strengthen core concept understanding, and address questions in real time
- Prepare lesson content based on individual student needs, ensuring well-structured and high-quality instruction
- Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to support student understanding and continuous improvement
- Support project testing and ongoing curriculum development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in Math, Education, or related fields are preferred
- Teaching experience or a valid teaching certificate is highly preferred
- Available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends (US time zones)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is preferred
