About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Teach mathematics to students from Pre-K through middle school
- Actively engage and manage classrooms of up to 16 students
- Prepare and deliver lessons using Think Academy's curriculum and teaching guidance
- Grade homework and provide teaching-related services
- Communicate with students and parents and provide timely, personalized feedback
- Work 15–20 hours per week, primarily on weekends and weekday afternoons
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or above; candidates still pursuing or in progress of obtaining a Bachelor's degree are eligible to apply
- Education or STEM-related majors preferred
- Prior math teaching experience is not required, but is a plus
- Passion for teaching and the education industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly responsible and enjoys working with children
- Commitment to at least one whole semester of teaching
- Availability and willingness to work weekday evenings and weekends
Benefits
Comp & perks- $40/hr teaching fee + $20/hr non-teaching fee
