About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide telehealth therapy to Medicaid members across Massachusetts
- Accrue clinical experience toward independent LMHC licensure
- Maintain an established external LMHC supervision relationship
- Receive additional clinical guidance and support from Third Space clinicians
- Conduct psychotherapy and behavioral health assessments

- Collaborate with clients, supervisors, and the broader clinical team
- Help shape the practice's care-delivery model
- Serve Medicaid members and help expand access to behavioral healthcare
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or another qualifying field for LMHC licensure in Massachusetts
- Current eligibility to practice and accrue supervised clinical experience toward LMHC licensure in Massachusetts
- Established LMHC supervisor outside of Third Space, qualified to provide supervision toward Massachusetts LMHC licensure
- Hands-on experience providing psychotherapy, behavioral health assessments, or other direct clinical mental health services
- Experience with mental health diagnoses, treatment planning, and clinical documentation
- Comfort using EHR systems, telehealth platforms, and other digital tools
- Quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office for confidential virtual sessions
- Fluency in English
- Spanish proficiency preferred; additional languages a plus
- Foundational understanding of mental health diagnoses and clinical presentation
- Experience developing individualized, clinically appropriate treatment plans
- Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and ability to explain their application
- Skill conducting behavioral health assessments and using clinical findings to guide treatment
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
- Ability to build therapeutic rapport with diverse client populations in a virtual environment
- Collaborative approach to working with clients, supervisors, and the broader clinical team
- Commitment to serving Medicaid populations and communities facing barriers to behavioral healthcare
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
