About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the direction, coordination, planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects
- Participate in business development activities with existing and new clients to help win new projects
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements
- Plan and formulate engineering programs and organize project staff according to project requirements
- Perform analysis and design of structural systems for buildings and materials using various building codes
- Manage design team members and supervise engineers and draft persons
- Direct project staff in preparing contract documents, including drawings and specifications
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of structural engineering experience
- Demonstrated project and staff management similar in function, size and scope to the described role
- Ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines
